Uncertainty

The definition of Uncertainty…

1.  the state of being uncertain; doubt; hesitancy.
2. an instance of uncertainty; doubt; etc.
3. unpredictability; indeterminacy; indefiniteness.

November 1st is here.  Seems like the second half of this year has flown by, while at the same time, seems like it’s gone very, very slow.  Michelle and I have been praying for close to six months for a new ministry door to open.  It feels like we are getting closer.. but yet are still waiting.  We have many things that we are praying about right now and weighing our options with.  In the meantime, we just continue to hope and trust for the right door to open for us.

My mom and dad are in somewhat of the same boat that we are in.  My dad is looking for a new church to serve at as well.  He’s actually gotten some interest from a couple, and I’m excited for him.  I’m praying that a door will open soon for them too.

I’m reminded of the disciples and how often they wondered where Jesus was going and where he was taking them.  He would always say “just follow me.” Sometimes it’s hard for us to follow when we don’t know exactly where we are going.  But Jesus says “you must follow me.”

So that’s what we are doing.  Following Him.
