Subway, Batteries, and a Nice Guy

By Jon

We had lunch at Subway today and it was really good. When we were pulling out of subway I mentioned to Michelle that the car had started kind of weird today. We drove to the Circle K to fill up with gas, and when I went to start the car it wouldn’t start. With that being said, let me say that the Circle K was way busy. I don’t think I’ve seen the gas station so full before. People were pulling up behind us waiting for us to go, and we couldn’t move. We were trying to figure out where to go, but we were completely boxed in. After a few minutes of hoping that the gas station would slow down, we found an opening and were able to get our car pushed over into a parking spot. Once we got it pushed over there we started thinking who we could call to jump us. Sometime earlier Michelle had gone into Circle K to get a drink and also asked if they had any spare jumper cables? Little did she know that the guy behind her, heard what she was talking about and offered to come out and jump our car. After we had got it jumped we headed over to Autozone to get the battery tested and see what we needed to do. We ended up getting the battery replaced, and all is well.
